100th dog to Holland !

December 19th was an important day for CAS & HzH - but most important for 3 morew dogs who flew to start new lives.

Well! October 25th was a BIG, BIG Day

The photos below show (in order)

Baggage Handlers taking out the 2 cages; How the cages are taped up to ensure the dogs could never escape; Dogs being released - first is SPIRIT then little CARMEN.

In the next set we see CARMEN and MANO....who loves having his tummy scratched:)

The final Oct 25th sequence shows the wonderful travellers bringing the cages into Arrivals with SPIRIT, CHARLIE SPIRIT

Charles & Diana - Happy at Last!

Here are Charles & Diana - they spent their lives together until their owner died. They were cared for by CAS and then went - together - to their new Dutch home.

At Málaga Airport

Here we see the people who rescued the injured Billy (Denise & Rowland) and Herbert, who flew from his home in Spain to The Netherlands and accompanied all 3 dogs......although Ñajo was so "chilled out" that he needed a lift.......

FIVE dogs flew to the Netherlands on Thursday 18th September - Charles & Diana (honestly!) Molly & Pippa plus Kipper. Despite a car breakdown...and a mad dash to the airport (phew!) they are all now happily with their lovely Dutch families.
Let's hear it for HzH & CAS !!!

 

 

 

 

From a Nightmare to a Dream

Here are some pics of Minky in her new home in Holland. She was rescued as a puppy from an avocado grove where she was confined in two crates tied together. At first, she had trouble walking and was a little thin. However, after being cared for by CAS for 6 months she has now been given a loving new home in Holland thanks to the cooperative arrangement between CAS and HzH. It is truly a dream come true.
