SCRUFFS (TORROX) 2012

Cas (Costa Animal Society) are pleased to announce that the first of their annual SCRUFFS Dog Shows will be held on Saturday 26th May at the ANDALE Riding Centre with registration commencing at 1,00pm and Judging at 2.00pm.

There will be 11 classes as below

1. Pedigree Puppy (under 1 year) 2. Non Pedigree Puppy (under I year)
3. Pedigree Bitch (over 1 year) 4. Pedigree Dog (over 1 year)
5. Non Pedigree Bitch (over 1 year) 6. Non Pedigree Dog (over 1 year)
7. Dog and Owner Look Alike 8. The Best Six Legs (Dog & Owner)
9. Best Rescue Dog. 10. Best Rescue Bitch.
11. Fancy Dress

There will be prizes in all classes plus Best in Show. Entry is 5 per Euros per dog per class.

A Bar & Food will be available. Many Stalls.

Cas are seeking a main sponsor for the show and sponsors for the individual classes. If interested please contact Richard on 952037095 or 659458020. Stall places are also available on application.

CAS SCRUFFS ANNUAL DOG SHOW

Cas "Costa Animal Society" wish it to be known that the proposed Scruffs Dog Show to be held at the Pavo Real in Competa on 12 May, for reasons beyond their control, no longer has any association with Cas. Cas are currently seeking an alternative venue for the first of their annual Scruffs" shows and a further announcement will be made shortly. The Nerja Scruffs show will continue as normal later in the year. For further information contact Wendy on 952037095.

Costa Animal Society Annual General Meeting
The 2012 AGM of the Costa Animal Society will be held on Friday 13th April at the Nerja Club Hotel commencing at 2.30pm.

Successful Bingo Night
The Coach & Horses (Nerja) held a Bingo Night in aid of Cas and the end of February and played to a full house ! The evening raised close to 500 Euros to help with the abandoned animals.
Cas would like to thank Kathy at the Coach & Horses who organised the evening and kindly donated a hot supper to all those who attended.
