Right to care

A Judge in Granada has taken the right from a citizen of this city to take care for his dog.
In the coming 2 months a local animal welfare organisation will take care of the abused and neglected dog.

The case started when a neighbour went to the police to report the miserable conditions. They took the dog away and gave the owner a fine for 720 euro because of animal abuse.

The local judge acted as if it concerned a child - which has a right to be taken into care for the shortcomings.
The dog is under treatment now and shows progress by playing with his ‘foster parents’. This is the first time that a judge deprived the RIGHT TO CARE for an animal
